I’m so excited to share the new wallpaper we just added to our bathroom! (Keep scrolling for a “before” photo!)
We chose custom, peel-and-stick wallpaper from Love vs. Design in the “rustic wreaths” pattern. The best thing about ordering wallpaper from their site, is that it is completely customizable! You can modify the colors of everything from the background, to individual pattern details. So when you find a pattern you like on their site, you can change the colors to suit your needs! I knew I wanted something classic in calming blues and greens, and felt like the rustic wreaths pattern was perfect the moment I saw it. I could honestly spend way too much time on lovevsdesign.com just playing around with different ideas.
The ordering, delivery, and customer service from Love vs. Design was top notch! Everything is very user-friendly, and I would highly recommend. For better color viewing, I’ve also included a digital swatch of my picks below, in case you’re looking for something similar!
While it may appear that I added a new light fixture, I simply spray painted the old one, and added these new seeded glass globes! It was about a $30 upgrade in total, that I think makes all the difference. I did my research on gold spray paint, and can confirm that this is the one you need to get. It’s the perfect color with a metallic finish! I also sprayed the longer towel bar and the toilet paper holder, which also worked out great. Finally, I did add this square hand towel ring to the side of the sink, and am really happy with it!
I also used this white gloss spray paint on the old mirror – I just taped a plastic drop cloth along the edges of the actual mirror to protect it from the spray paint, then peeled it off when I was finished! It looks brand new! The mirror, light fixture, and hardware were all in the bathroom when we bought our house, so I was happy to repurpose them. We spent so much time renovating the kitchen and other areas of the house, and it was finally time for a few bathroom updates!
