Gift Guide: Parents & In-Laws

It’s happening. It’s here. It’s time.

Introducing, my first gift guide of the season! When I asked y’all on Instagram last week, many of you said that your parents, in-laws, and/or the men your life are the hardest people for you to buy gifts for. So, that’s what we’re starting with this week! Today, I have gift ideas for your parents and in-laws. (I’ll have “gifts for him” later this week!)

These are “couples” gifts that are mostly meant to be “joint” presents for your parents or in-laws, which I find to be easiest! As I said above, I’ll have separate guides “for him” and “for her” coming soon, if you’re looking to do separate gifts for each person. If you need even more ideas, check out my 2021 Gift Guide for Grandparents & In-Laws.

Gift Guide: Parents & In-Laws

1. Champagne Bucket: Do they love to host or have a fun celebration coming up? This personalized champagne bucket or wine chiller is so special!

2. Personalized Canvas Tote: I have two of these bags, and my family has owned countless over the years. You can use them as a car tote, beach/boat bag, or anything, really! I even have one with Fern’s name on it that I pack for her when she spends the night away from us!

3. Initial Door Mat: You can’t go wrong with this gift under $50! This would be so pretty for any outdoor door – it’s what we currently have as our front door mat.

4. Personalized Beach Towels: If they love to travel or have a trip planned, everyone can always use new beach towels. You can personalize these with their name or initials!

5. Ember Mug: For the coffee drinkers! You could get each of them one so they can enjoy their morning cup together.

6. Initial Rattan Tray: Again, ideal for the host & hostess! This would be pretty on a coffee table.

7. Herb Planter: If you have a gardener in your family, or someone who wants to get started, this indoor herb planter is absolutely adorable! I might be adding this to my own wish list.

8. Cooking for Two Cookbook: Calling all empty nesters! This cookbook is sure to come in handy.

9. Marble Initial Coasters: Tie these on top of any gift, or give them on their own!

10. Hatch Restore Alarm Clock: I have not personally used one of these, but I’m always intrigued when I see it online. A great gift for someone interested in the latest gadgets!

11. Skylight Digital Frame: My sister gave one of these to our parents a couple of years ago, and we all still love sending new pictures to the frame for them to see!

12. Popcorn Maker: I’m obsessed with this air-popper, mostly because I just love popcorn!! This is so much healthier than microwave popcorn – just add the kernels – no oil is involved!

I put a lot of thought and time into all of my gift guides, to hopefully make them genuinely useful for you – I appreciate you shopping through my links as always, but especially during the holiday season!

Happy shopping!
