We had the best weekend exploring Beaufort, NC while we were in town for a friend’s wedding! Growing up in South Carolina, I had never visited the North Carolina coastline. It’s safe to say that I completely fell in love with “America’s Favorite Town!”
I’m already planning our trip back to the Pecan Tree Inn – the adorable and quintessentially southern bed & breakfast where we stayed. I booked the Queen Ann Spa Suite for the weekend because I knew I would have some solo vacation time while Rudd had groomsman obligations, and would want some space to relax. It was so perfect and definitely exceeded our expectations!
This was also our first bed & breakfast experience, and I’m a believer now. The food at the Pecan Tree Inn was so fresh and delicious. All of the other amenities like coffee, tea, beautiful gardens, diffusers and white noise machines in each room, luxury towels and robes, etc., made our stay even more perfect!

Other than enjoying the wedding festivities, we spent time waking along Front Street where there are so many beautiful historic homes and waterfront restaurants + shops. My favorite thing about the area is how sleepy and uncrowded it was! You know how some vacations are true “vacations,” and others are more like “trips?” Beaufort is definitely a relaxing vacation spot, where you could really slow down, while having fun things to do!
I wore the “Orr Skirt” from my collection with Pink Stable to stroll around on Saturday. It’s the perfect vacation piece paired with a white tee!

I can’t say enough great things about the Pecan Tree Inn and I cannot wait to go back. I only wish we had enough time this past weekend to use everything they had to offer – like bikes and beach chairs! If I had known how amazing it would be, I definitely would’ve planned to stay a few extra days. We’ll be back!
