A Simple & Fun Easter Tablescape

Only 11 days until Easter! Can you believe it?! I have always loved Easter as a holiday in general, and was so excited to add a few spring touches to our dining room this year. I decided to go with a very simple + fresh (and attainable!) Easter tablescape that could easily be recreated with similar items. And a pink table runner is always a good idea ? – I got the longest size!

The napkins that I used for this table have part of our wedding crest embroidered on them from The Preppy Stitch! She can digitize any file and turn it into embroidery which is AMAZING! We used these on the head table at our wedding reception and I love having opportunities to pull them back out.

For the centerpiece, I used this adorable hobnail planter from Amazon and filled it with the tulips Rudd gave me for my birthday! On the side, I grabbed a bouquet from the store and put the flowers in these vases that were given to me as a gift from Cottage & Vine. My bird salt and pepper shakers made cute little additions, too.

My tea light candle holders are a few years old from Crate & Barrel, but these are very similar. I love using these battery powered tea lights!

For the actual place setting, I wanted to do something really fun, and who wouldn’t love to find a chocolate bunny on their plate? These are the classic Lindt chocolate bunnies that I unwrapped and then used this ribbon to tie a bow around their necks. To up the personalization factor, you could even create name cards and punch a whole through them to tie around their necks with the ribbon!

I was very pleased with myself to happen across these cabbage plates that look very Bordallo, but for much less! I decided to go with my everyday china as I thought they fit the “fun” theme a little bit better than this Lenox Tuxedo, and placed them on top of my favorite rattan placemats. This little bread basket matches them!

I love that my everyday silverware can really work with any style! I’d highly recommend adding it to your registry if you’re creating one. (My other registry ideas can be found here!) These bone steak knives also make an amazingly beautiful gift, and I liked how they brightened up the table even more.

Finally, I mixed and matched my Waterford Markham wine glasses and casual water goblets to again, make things a little more fun! I really love how this Easter tablescape turned out and can’t wait to enjoy it as the holidy approaches!

I found a similar one on the Target website for you, though! The little wooden crate full of speckled eggs was a decor hand-me-down from my grandmother – thanks Mimi!
