Whit’s First Birthday Party

Rudd Whitaker Orr, Jr. is ONE! How is it so? There was only one way to celebrate our Christmas baby and that was with a very merry first birthday party!

Oh what fun it is to be ONE!

Whit’s sweet outfit and bib are Scarlet Designs– Katie went above and beyond to create something that perfectly coordinated with everything I was putting together!!

Foot Dish – Cowtown Clay

I used this tablecloth and this table runner – then ordered this red ric-rac and used fabric tape to line the runner with it! This is the red grosgrain ribbon I used to tie bows on just about everything!

Little Happies put together this adorable cake topper, party hat, & high chair banner for me! I knew I wanted to go with a red & light blue theme and couldn’t be happier with everything! I made both cakes & love how they turned out, too!

Whit absolutely loved his smash cake 🤣 he immediately (& literally) dove straight into it – I think he would’ve eaten the whole thing if we hadn’t taken it away!

Birthday Plate – Holly Slay Handmade

I had the idea to do little wooden nutcracker ornaments for the party favors, and ended up bringing Whit’s nursery tree (with his Namesake Celebrations bow topper) in the dining room to display them! I tied little tags on each one, and every guest picked a nutcracker ornament to take home with them on their way out. Something festive and fun!

Let me know what questions you have! Having a little Christmas baby to celebrate is just the very best!!

Merry Christmas!
