Transitioning Into Spring

As I write this, it is practically SNOWING in the Carolinas!! Since when does this happen in April?! I would be lying if I said this wasn’t making me nervous about the wedding next year ? Ironically, today I want to talk about how to easily transition your wardrobe into SPRING (which will hopefully be arriving soon!)

In the Carolinas, Spring usually means that it’s chilly in the morning and warms up to “room temperature” in the mid-late afternoon. One of my favorite go-to’s for this time of year is pairing a casual dress with a light jacket and booties! It pretty much covers any type of weather you might encounter (unless it’s snowing in April, of course.)

The best part about this adorable polka dot dress is that it’s under $30 on Amazon! I’m wearing a small for reference – it comes in a few other colors too! I’ll pair it with my favorite Tory Burch sandals in the summer when it really warms up. I also wear this dress in the fall with tall boots! Try to re-think some of the pieces you already own to make them work for the season you’re in – it’ll make your life so much easier!

The best piece of advice I have for ANY Spring outfit is to LAYER! You can always shed your layers if you’re too warm, so it gives you the best opportunity to be prepared for all of the possible temperatures.
