Happy Memorial Day!! Hope that you are enjoying your day off (and shopping some online sales<\/a><\/span>!) – we’re making BBQ in the crockpot because\u00a0#albert<\/em>o. I am so thankful for all of the men and women who serve our country + fight for our freedom so that we can enjoy days like today!
\nOne of my\u00a0favorite things<\/em>\u00a0about this time of the year (when there isn’t a downpour) is going to farmer’s markets! There’s just something about eating local fruits and vegetables that makes it feel like summertime is finally here. I typically go to the South Carolina state farmer’s market when I’m in Columbia, but had the chance to go to the Western North Carolina farmer’s market with Rudd this past weekend! I thought it would be fun to share some of my\u00a0favorite things to make<\/strong>\u00a0with fresh produce in the summertime.
