I wanted to put the answers to your questions in one place that can be referenced again, even though I hadn&#8217;t planned to do a blog post about it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Re-doing furniture is actually SUPER fun! I did an end table and a mirror for the house too, but I&#8217;ll probably have to show y&#8217;all those later this summer after the postponed wedding since I&#8217;m not there right now. My sweet dad was a huge help for this first part. He took off the old hardware, then used <span style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\" href=\"https:\/\/shopstyle.it\/l\/bfKB4\">an electric sander<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to take off the old clear finish on the wood. We got the paint in a satin finish + &#8220;<strong><span style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\"><a style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lowes.com\/pd\/HGTV-HOME-by-Sherwin-Williams-Infinity-Satin-White-Interior-Paint-Actual-Net-Contents-128-fl-oz\/1000514039\">infinity<\/a><\/span><\/strong>&#8221; which means it has primer built into it, which really helped!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I thought the dresser color was going to turn out being much darker than the walls, but it really just turned out a different shade of gray &#8211; ha! Totally transformed! Finally, I found <span style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\" href=\"https:\/\/shopstyle.it\/l\/bfKGD\">this hardware on Amazon<\/a><\/strong><\/span> that comes in tons of different sizes and Rudd attached them for us. (We actually ended up using this same hardware on <span style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\" href=\"https:\/\/collectivelycarolina.com\/staging\/4719\/house-update-no-7-kitchen-renovation-progress\/\">our kitchen<\/a><\/strong><\/span> cabinets &#8211; stay tuned for more pictures of that!)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">*Edit* &#8211; I also lined the inside of drawers with this <span style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffb9c7;\" href=\"https:\/\/shopstyle.it\/l\/bfLCT\">gray patterned drawer liner paper<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to give them a clean + fresh look! Such an inexpensive way to make it feel like new.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">All in all, I think we probably spent $85ish total on this dresser.
