It feels like forever since I’ve written a #WeddingWednesday<\/a><\/strong><\/span> blog post! So many things have been going on behind the scenes, but I can’t wait to share more with you as everything takes shape. I thought it would be fun to start a new series about what Rudd and I have on our wedding registry! Right now, we’re registered at Amazon<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and Crate & Barrel<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. I don’t plan to add any other retailers, but we’ll see!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I also realized after I posted that poll to my Instagram stories<\/a><\/strong><\/span> yesterday that this series is going to have to be in several different categories.\u00a0<\/em>This one is going to be all about home items<\/em> we’re registering for, but I’ll also do posts about kitchen items, entertaining items, and more! This also isn’t a comprehensive list of ALL the home items we’re registered for, but 20 of my favorites!<\/p>\n

\"What<\/p>\n

1. Brass Candle Holders<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I registered for 2 of these to keep on our dining room table!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. Singer Sewing Machine<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – This definitely isn’t something that everyone would register for, but my mom has taught me how to sew over the years and I think this will be so useful to have!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3. Walnut Step Stool<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – A step stool is probably the most underrated thing! I would use this all the time to grab things off of high shelves in the kitchen or pantry.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

4. Organic Turkish Bath Towels<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – These are the BEST towels! My sister got them as wedding gifts, and now we’re registered for bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths in both “spa blue” and “white.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7. Initial Door Mat<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’ll probably use this on our screened in porch door that opens up into the kitchen! It’s the perfect size for smaller spaces, and I love the classic personalization.<\/p>\n

6. Nest Thermostat<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – Our house that we’re renovating has an old-school thermostat in it that I’ve been dying to replace! I love that you can control the temperature in your house from anywhere with this.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7. Bose Bluetooth Speaker<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I love that this speaker is small enough to carry anywhere in the house, or outside for entertaining! I also like that you can pair multiple speakers together for multi-room sound.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

8. Marble & Gold Picture Frame<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’m already SO excited to print our engagement pictures and future wedding pictures for the new house – this frame is such a sweet touch!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

9. Cozy Weave Throw<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’m all about having blankets nearby in the living room for show\/movie marathons, BUT they have to be cute + functional!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

10. Apple TV<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’m obsessed with Apple TV’s because they work with any TV in any room, and are also super easy to unplug to take with you on vacations, etc.!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

11. Evelyn Ruffled Vase<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’m so excited to pick up fresh flowers at the store when I’m grocery shopping next year! Having a pretty vase or two just makes it extra fun.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

12. Shark Vacuum<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – This isn’t really that fun, but it IS a home essential!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

13. Weather Station<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’ve been trying to add things to our registry that I know Rudd will love, and this is definitely one of them!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

14. Air Mattress<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – This is another one of those things that you don’t really think about getting until you need it! I know we’ll love having this for extra house guests and for trips we take.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

15. Rattan Laundry Hamper<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – Laundry is already the worst, so a cute hamper makes it better! We’ll keep this in our master bathroom.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

16. Conair Steamer<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – Steamers are great for things you can’t easily iron like curtains, bedspreads, and slip covers! This one has rave reviews.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

17. Digital Glass Scale<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – Another home essential that can’t be forgotten!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

18. Round Brass Mirror<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’ll probably keep this in our guest room – I can’t survive without a magnifying mirror, and feel like it’s a nice home-y touch.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

19. Natural Knotted Doormat<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – I’m registered for both the large and “regular” sizes of this doormat! I plan to use the large one by our front door – it’s so classic!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

20. Maytag Steam Iron<\/a><\/strong><\/span> – Very important! I love Maytag irons and expect to spend many hours with this one – ha!<\/p>\n
