Time for another #CCRecipe<\/a><\/strong><\/span>! If I had all the time in the world, I’d have a new recipe up for y’all every single week. For now, we’ll have to be happy about a new recipe every month or so! Baking treats for my friends and family is something that brings me such joy – there’s nothing like putting a smile on someone’s face with something you made yourself! Today I’m going to share a super easy blondie recipe with you so you can show your love ones how much they mean to you.<\/p>\n

Valentine’s Day Blondie Bars<\/em><\/h5>\n

WHAT YOU NEED:<\/h6>\n

1 \u00bd cups all-purpose flour<\/p>\n

1 teaspoon baking powder<\/p>\n

1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n

1 cup packed light brown sugar<\/p>\n

1\/2 cup granulated sugar<\/p>\n

12 tablespoons salted butter, melted and cooled<\/p>\n

2 large eggs<\/p>\n

1 \u00bd teaspoons vanilla extract<\/p>\n

1 cup Valentine’s M&M\u2019s<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1\/2 cup mini heart sprinkles<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT TO DO:<\/h6>\n

  1. Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F\u00a0and line a 9\u00d713 baking pan with parchment paper, all the way up the sides.<\/li>\n
  2. Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl.<\/li>\n
  3. In a mixing bowl fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar. Then add the eggs and vanilla. Gently fold in the flour, baking powder and salt, then fold in the M&M\u2019s and sprinkles.<\/li>\n
  4. Spread batter into the lined baking dish and smooth\u00a0the\u00a0top (it will be very thick!) Sprinkle more sprinkles and M&M\u2019s on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden on top. The middle will still be a little gooey when you take them out of the oven, but they will set as they cool. Don’t over-bake or they will be dry! Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting into squares.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
