Happy #WeddingWednesday, y’all! I hope you’re sitting down with a big cup of coffee or glass of wine, because this might be my longest + most picture-filled post, yet! I had the BEST time in Charleston with 7 out of 8 of my bridesmaids (we missed you, Meg!!) for my bachelorette weekend and I’m so excited to share all about it. I’m going to go through the weekend in chronological order, but if you want to know more about the monogrammed welcome bags we put together, check out this blog post!
I’m also going to “introduce” my bridesmaids to you throughout the post – just look for the little captions! All of the decor we used + my outfits are linked underneath the photos as well.
I got a few questions about posting a “closer up” shot of the itineraries we created on Zazzle that we put next to the welcome bags! This is a screenshot of the design + what we did for most of the weekend in case you’re planning your own bachelorette weekend or girls weekend in Charleston!
We stayed in Unit C of the cutest rental property owned by The Quarters On Spring! Definitely check them out if you’re planning a trip with a large group. We were so comfy with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, + the U-shaped couch was to die for!
Ahhh! “Marg’s Last Fling Down King” was our theme for the weekend and these balloons might have been my favorite piece of “decor.” When I told Rudd what the theme was, he said, “What’s King?” (LOL) If you’re not familiar with Charleston, King Street is the central hub for all things shopping, staying, and dining!! We spent a lot of our time there on Saturday afternoon walking around!

Mary Catherine (my sis and MOH!) and I were pretty impressed with our first attempt at a balloon arch/backdrop! Everything we used is linked above – we secured everything with regular and double-sided scotch tape!

We displayed all of the gifts for the lingerie shower we had on Friday night on this little table that was under the TV!

pink, white, and gold lanterns
It was so fun to bring all of the bride magazines that I have accumulated – they really spiced up this little table!

On Friday night while everyone was arriving at different times, we cozied up in leggings + the sweatshirts that were in everyone’s welcome bags! We had a little charcuterie, wine, and pizza night and it was so much fun! My sweet Mama made the cutest cookies and cake pops that we ate while we did the lingerie shower.
It was so relaxing to have a night “in” with the girls since a lot of them didn’t know each other! I would definitely recommend doing that – it just gave us so much quality time to talk and catch up!

On Saturday morning, we had brunch reservations at Poogan’s Porch! It was such a “classic Charleston” place to go, and we had the best time eating upstairs there.
After brunch, we walked down to the pineapple fountain, then to the Charleston Market, and ended our shopping spree on King Street! When our feet got tired, we popped into The Skinny Dip for a little bit of Frosé + coffee.

*When you’re getting married in just a little over 50 days!* This confetti popper was SO fun and is a bachelorette weekend must-have!
When we got back from shopping, we had a little bit of time to relax before our dinner reservations! Mary Catherine made a fun “blushing bride” cocktail and we snacked on the rest of our charcuterie from the night before.
Elizabeth: My Clemson BFF and all-around partner in crime!
Kendra: Rudd’s older sister and my soon-to-be SIL!
Abbey: My FCA small group leader at Clemson who is recently engaged!!
Rebekah: One of my first friends in Kindergarten!
Meredith: My friend since babyhood – since church nursery days!
The best MOH in the world!! (Click to shop her pink dress!)
We didn’t snap many pictures from the rest of the night, but our dinner on the rooftop of the Grand Bohemian Hotel at Élevé was SO much fun! I would definitely recommend it for a girls night! We ended up skipping our champagne plans at Camelia’s because we were truly having so much fun where we were staying!
The next morning, we had a quick breakfast and headed home – I can’t thank all of my girls enough for celebrating me SO well and making it the most fun bachelorette weekend ever! I can’t wait for all of us to be together again at the wedding in April…eep!
