Coming in hot with lots of fun pictures and details from our very FIRST wedding shower in North Carolina this past Sunday afternoon!! Two of my sweet bridesmaids (one being Rudd’s sister!) and my future mother-in-law hosted a couple’s shower for us at the Etowah Valley Golf Club. It was so fun to be with so many of our good friends and family and we are already overwhelmed with all of the love coming our way!
The midi dress I wore to the shower is on sale right now and fits true to size! (Hint to all brides: It was so nice to feel secure + covered in the length of this midi dress while sitting in a chair and opening presents! Something I wouldn’t have thought about before, but a good thing to keep in mind!)

When the shower was over, someone had the idea to release the balloons in the air outside! It was such a fun, impromptu end to the best afternoon ever! I’m so excited for all of the wedding events left to come – I can’t believe that this was just the start!
(A little secret for those of you who made it this far in the post – I’m planning to mail our save-the-dates TOMORROW!! Stay tuned for details on them!)
