Do you and your guy go out for Valentine’s Day or stay in?? I feel like Rudd and I will probably be people who stay in and have a cozy evening when we’re older, but right now it’s fun to go out! I also just love any excuse to buy a RED outfit! ❤️ Don’t get me wrong, these dresses aren’t just for romantic dates – a Galentine’s date night still counts!! I think either of these dresses would be equally as fun to wear out with your girlfriends for drinks + dessert on V-Day.

So I bought both of these dresses from asos and I totally thought Rudd was going to like the second option better than this first one! I was surprised when he said he liked this flowy pleated dress the best, but I’m not mad about it because it’s SO comfortable! It would also be great for holiday parties, and other occasions besides Valentine’s Day. I’m wearing my usual size 4, and am 5’5″ for reference.

This second eyelet dress was my personal favorite! I think it runs just slightly small (I’m still wearing my normal size 4,) but If you’re in between sizes I would size up. I had my eye on this dress back in December, but couldn’t justify purchasing an eyelet dress in mid winter! You can easily get away with it in February, (especially in the south) even though it’s not spring yet.
All the little cutouts and detailing are just so pretty! This dress is on sale right now for only $52, but the sizing is also limited so snag it while you can. I found similar options here, here & here.
