If you follow along on my Instagram, you are probably well aware that I spent last weekend at the Inn at Patrick Square right outside of Clemson! It made me so happy to be back in the upstate and to add this little spot to my list of travels. I can’t wait to be back in Clemson for football season!
The Inn at Patrick Square was so sweet to invite me to stay and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about the Inn. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the Clemson area, this is THE best option – not only because of the hotel itself, but because of everything that’s within walking distance of it! There is Clemson history scattered throughout the Inn and it’s also part of the Southern Living hotel collection, if that tells you anything ? Today I’m going to share all of the pictures from my trip and explain some things in detail, including all of the outfits I wore! You can book rooms directly on the hotel’s website by clicking here.
The outside of the hotel is so charming – complete with an extensive front porch for relaxing, eating, and working! As pretty as the outside is, the inside is that much prettier. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. One of my favorite parts about the room were the watercolors painted by former Clemson President James Barker pictured below. I had no idea that this was a talent of his and now I want them for my future home!!
The jewelry I’m wearing with my purple gingham dress is from Hidden Truth Jewelry. These are the Julia Blair Cross Studs and the Tiny Leah Cross Necklace. I posted about this monogrammed weekender bag on Instagram last week, but it’s only $36 on Etsy! It holds was more than you think it would and held all of my belongings for the weekend.

My purple gingham dress is still in stock at Nordstrom Rack!! I love the ruffle details and can’t wait to wear it again to a Clemson football game. It’s also on sale for less than $40 – I’m wearing a 4 for reference, it runs true to size.
The lobby of the Inn at Patrick Square is absolutely dreamyyy. And how about this wall of Clemson history?! I could curl up in one of those leather chairs with a book and a cup of coffee from the Stumphouse Cafe (also right outside of the lobby) all day long. We ate lunch at the cafe on Saturday and it was so yummy! I had the Calhoun sandwich.

On Saturday night, I wore this striped jumpsuit from Nordstrom that I’m in lovvve with. You might’ve already seen it in yesterday’s blog post, but I’ll link it again just in case. It’s selling out fast so go ahead and order if you really want it! I got a small.
We went to the new Clemson Wine Bar that’s right next door to the Inn before we ate dinner. They have the best snacks/appetizers and wine/beer selection. I’m so happy to know that there is actually somewhere “nice” in Clemson to go on date nights! We had the best time there and everyone was so friendly.
For our “actual” dinner, we went to Rick Erwin’s which is right next door – we were already kind of full so we ended up sitting in the bar room and splitting something! We loved being able to walk from place to place. It was so relaxing to not have to drive around everywhere.
LAUREN Ralph Lauren Sleep Shirt (XS/S) • $59
LAUREN Ralph Lauren Sleep Shirt (L/XL) • $59
Forgot to mention the superrr cute gift basket that the Inn had waiting in my room for me!! Seriously they are the sweetest people. I loved waking up and making coffee in my new mug with the Keurig in the room. Also not ashamed to say that we immediately ate the chocolate chip cookies that were in the basket and they were some of the best cookies I’ve ever had ? You can shop my favorite Lauren Ralph Lauren sleep shirt below!
For brunch on Sunday, we went to our all-time favorite: SunnySide Cafe! It’s also right next door to the Inn which makes it sooo convenient. I got the biscuits & gravy as always and it really hit the spot. If you’re ever in the Clemson area, make sure to put this place on your list! It tends to be really crowded on the weekends, but the wait is typically not very long.
The whole Patrick Square area is just the cutest and truly feels like you’re walking around the pages of Southern Living Magazine! We had the best time and can’t wait to go back soon ?
