My Favorite Ways to Workout at Home

Hi, friends! Here to share a little bit of Monday motivation with you! I love working out at home, and equally love going to fitness classes like spin, barre, and yoga, and I’m sure many of you are missing your classes + gym right now, too. This season of quarantine has most definitely thrown all of our routines for a loop!

Since my schedule has been pretty all of the place the last few months between wedding planning, and driving between North and South Carolina to check on our home renovations, I’ve become accustomed to squeezing in workouts at home! I thought it would be helpful to share with you a few of my favorite (and FREE) ways to workout at home, since that’s everyone’s only option for the time being!

1. Blogilates Videos

Y’all have heard me talk about how much I love Cassie’s Blogilates videos on Instagram and the blog before!! She is so positive and her workouts are fun + effective. They’re pilates focused videos, and she has something for everyone/every area you’re trying to target! I like to use her website to search for specific videos, (you can sort them by “level” and “body focus”) but you can also find her on YouTube! This 30 minute abs, butt, and thighs workout is one I go back to again and again!

*A note for my brides: She also has some SUPER fun “bridal bootcamp” videos that will help you prep for your big day + get excited for it!!

2. PopSugar Fitness on Youtube

I recently discovered the PopSugar Fitness account on YouTube when I was searching for barre workouts, and came across this 45 minute barre workout and this 30 minute barre workout by Marnie Alton of Barre Belle. I’ve been doing both of those workouts a lot lately, and have tried some of PopSugar’s cardio workouts as well! The options are endless!

3. An Outdoor Walk + Stretching

This one is simple and self-explanatory, but always puts me in a better mood. I have a little 2.5 mile walking route that I take around our neighborhood, then I like come inside and stretch while my muscles are warm! Cassie has some great Blogilates stretching videos if you need something to follow along with. I usually do this on days when I feel like I need some extra fresh air, or when I feel like doing something simpler!
