Gift Guide: For In-Laws & Grandparents

Williams Sonoma blue & white herb start set // Slip silk pillowcase set // Lake Pajamas striped robe // Williams Sonoma windopane throw blanket // Picnic Time picnic basket for two // French Tulip pagoda candle // Williams Sonoma outdoor wine bar set // Our Place always pan set // Anthropologie cat playing cards // Monogrammed linen napkins // L.L. Arguably the second hardest group to shop for (after men, of course): in-laws & grandparents! I typically think of this as a category for people who have practically everything. I picked these gift ideas with that in mind, and tried to focus on thoughtful, personalized, or genuinely useful items. You can refer to all of my gift guides here, & don’t forget to browse the Gift Boutiques for even more ideas!

I’m sharing three of my favorite finds below, but these cat playing cards designed by my friend, Megan Carn, deserve more than an honorable mention. They would be an adorable gift for any cat-lover in your life!

This hometown map puzzle is customizable for any town or city! How fun?! This is something I could see my own grandparents really loving. It’s such a thoughtful gift that the recipient is not very likely already have. It would be such a fun activity for Christmas Day, too!

I love this gift for anyone who might live far away that you won’t get to see during the holidays: a beautiful fruit & cheese gift crate! Again, you know that this is something that will be put to good use throughout the season – I like the idea of sending it prior to Christmas so that they can utilize it for any entertaining.

If you took a family vacation or had a life milestone recently, this personalized gold bamboo frame is such a fun idea! You can customize the engraving on the bottom of the frame, and then print a family photo from your trip or special occasion. This is something a grandparent or in-law would cherish in their home!
