MY FRIDAY FAVORITES
1. $8 Old Navy Cat Eye Sunglasses
Even though I usually try to avoid trends, I can’t help but love the oversized cat-eye sunglasses look. I was looking at a few pairs online the other day and saw that these were on sale for $8 at Old Navy!! I stopped by my local store a few days ago to try them on to make sure they looked normal on my face. In love with them! I’m all about cheap sunglasses in the summer because they’ll inevitably get scratched up at the beach/pool.
A classic chambray shirt never goes out of style and always goes with everything. Adding a pop of chambray to a casual skirt like the one in these photos is my favorite way to dress-down an outfit – perfect for a weekend outing and doesn’t look like you tried too hard. 3. B.P. Scalloped Leather Tote
This bag from Nordstrom (in photos above) is SO cute. It’s so big and roomy, but the little scalloped edges add a little something extra to an otherwise typical bag. The best part? It’s only $49 and comes in bright pink, too!
4. Kate Spade Apple Watch Band
My heart was heavy this week after learning of the passing of Kate Spade. She was such an inspiration to so many – my first designer bag was Kate Spade and I wear so many things from her brand every single day. I’ve had my tan leather Kate Spade Apple Watch band since December and I love it so much! It’s a nice way to dress up a tech watch and has held up so well. I will always look at my Kate Spade products a little bit differently now – it’s always good to be reminded that you never know what someone else is going through – be kind!
5. Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Night Cream
If you’ve been following for a little while, you might have seen me mention this night cream on my Instagram stories. I’m so interested in learning more about when and how you should start using anti-aging products. I know it can’t hurt to start early (I’m 22!) so I thought this night cream was a good start. It’s not too pricy either and is actually on sale at Ulta right now! I put it on after I wash my face at night before I go to sleep. After using it for a little while, I’ve definitely noticed that my skin is much brighter when I wake up!
