Christmas Home Tour

It’s officially freezing outside in North Carolina, and I’m questioning whether or not I’ll make it my first winter living in the mountains…kidding! Kind of…

With that said, it IS making me very much in the holiday spirit, and very much excited to share my Christmas decor with you in a “home tour” blog post today! This year is so special because it is our first Christmas as a married couple (tons of posts from our June wedding are linked here!) I’m naturally a perfectionist, and to me, my Christmas decor will probably never be “finished.” I’m really happy with the things I’m starting out with, and can’t wait to see how it evolves over the years!

I’m going to link everything I can throughout this little tour, but you can also scroll to the very bottom for all of the links!

gray serving bowl (similar)

faux mistletoe wreath // olive oil bottle // wooden cutting board (similar) // salt cellar // newlywed cookbook // kitchenaid mixer // marble rolling pin // marble spoon rest (similar)

Quick notice that Fern absolutely insisted on being in modeling in most of these photos, so please enjoy. I do think she really added a special touch! For more information on the rest of our kitchen, you can visit this “kitchen renovation” blog post.

table runner // gumdrop tree // salt & pepper shakers // christmas tree pillow // wooden tray

christmas wine charm tree

Arguably my favorite piece of Christmas decor, even though it may be the smallest! These holiday wine charms help to make sure that you don’t accidentally swap wine glasses (which is more important than ever!!) They would make such a fun gift, too.

red dish towel // faucet // paper towel holder

I can’t link this apron, but there is a fun story behind it! My mom got it for me and added the ribbon/trim and my new monogram to give me at the Christmas bridal shower I had last year. I can’t wait to use it for the first time!

gold vases // gold trees // glass hurricane // red candle // flocked tree // tree topper // wooden lantern // jute rug

This is what we call our “fireplace room” that’s just off of the kitchen! We put our 7.5ft. King of Christmas flocked tree in this room, and have our fresh tree in our living room. We love that it’s pre-lit! The garland on the mantel is mish-mosh of various things from Hobby Lobby!

white tree skirt (similar) // red cardinal ornaments // pinecone ornaments //  ball ornaments

gold vases // gold trees

Our stockings are so special because my Mimi knitted mine when I was a baby, and we decided to continue the tradition with Rudd’s stocking, too!

glass hurricane // red candle

2ft. flocked tree in basket

How pretty is this indoor wreath? It’s a hand-me-down from my Mimi and I just love it so much!

mercury trees // carved nativity scene // area rug

mercury trees

Christmas tree ramekin

plaid pillows // window wreaths

window wreaths

plaid pillows

rattan tray //area rug// plaid pillows // window wreaths

red tree skirt

gingham rug // natural doormat // similar urns // wooden lantern

Rudd has truly outdone himself with our outdoor lights this year! I’m still contemplating my garland-around-the-door situation, but really like how this looks for now! We picked up this fresh wreath at Home Depot and it’s holding up really well so far!

Thanks so much for coming along this little tour with me! I hope this can serve as a little bit of inspiration for you in your own holiday decor! I’ve also linked this outfit for you here.
