It’s that timmme! I enjoyed writing our 2018 Summer Reading List so much, I thought it was only fitting that we gather together a Fall Reading List, too! (I know it’s not technically fall until the weekend, but we’re already in that leafy spirit, right??) Thanks so much to all of you who responded to my Instagram story question on Monday where I asked you what your current favorite books are. I think finding good books always comes down to finding good recommendations from other people!
Even though reading tonsss of books in the summertime is something I always look forward to doing at the beach or the pool, nothing beats curling up in a comfy sweater with a mug of apple cider and a good book on a chilly fall day. A lot of people ask me how I actually find time to read; I have a crazy-busy schedule like most of us do, but I always commit to reading a few pages of my current book before I go to sleep. Whether I have time to read 2 pages or 20 pages, I make a point to do it! Not only is it fun to do, it also helps me fall asleep faster because I’m not staring into my phone screen right before I go to bed. (If you do this, you’ll also be the first to know about the latest movies because you actually read the book first.)
If you’ve read anything on my fall reading list before, be sure to let me know!! I’m trying to figure out which one I want to start with!

2018 FALL READING LIST:
“Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate
For readers of Orphan Train and The Nightingale comes a “thought-provoking [and] complex tale about two families, two generations apart . . . based on a notorious true-life scandal.”
“What Alice Forgot” by Liane Moriarty
A “cheerfully engaging” novel for anyone who’s ever asked herself, “How did I get here?”
“Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens
“Romance, mystery, murder and it all takes place in the breathtaking backdrop of the South.”
“Something in the Water” by Catherine Steadman
“A psychological and captivating thriller.”
“Whiskey in a Teacup” by Reese Witherspoon
Academy Award–winning actress, producer, and entrepreneur Reese Witherspoon invites you into her world, where she infuses the southern style, parties, and traditions she loves with contemporary flair and charm.
“All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr
“This tough-to-put-down book proves its worth page after lyrical page…Each and every person in this finely spun assemblage is distinct and true.”
Love this list! I need to be better about reading, especially now that summer is over and I’m back at school. I have been dying to read “Whiskey in a Teacup” because I LOVE Reese Witherspoon.
