#WeddingWednesday totally fell through the cracks this week since we’ve been trying to re-plan everything at a new venue in 30 days! WHATTT. Yes. If you missed my Instagram story “announcement,” we’re moving both our wedding and reception to an all-outdoor venue since our church and original reception venue aren’t hosting events right now. I know it’s still going to be perfect, but there is a LOT to do before the end of June!!
I thought I would leave you with something quick and easy today because, honestly, that’s all my brain is going to allow me to do right now – lol! A handful of you asked if I could drop my wedding RSVP spreadsheet into a more-permanent blog post after I shared it on my Instagram stories recently.
Feel free to zoom in on your screen to see it in more detail!
Hopefully this will be helpful for all of you current and future brides to come back to when you need it!! It’s pretty self explanatory, but I created it in Excel with the following:
- 2 name columns (the second one is for the second line of an envelope where you would put children’s names, a second guest, etc.)
- A street address column
- A city/state/zip column (I separated the address and city/state columns so that it would make it easier to use the spreadsheet for a mail merge!)
- A “relationship” column (this just helped me keep track of how many people we had on each “side!”)
- A “number in party” column
- A “number accepted” column
- A “number of regrets” column
- And columns to track gifts received/thank you cards sent
I also changed each row to pink (you could use any colors!) when someone RSVP’ed, whether or not they accepted or regretted. With a quick glance at the overall spreadsheet, that allowed me to get a feel for the amount of people we were still waiting to hear from!
I used the “sum” function at the bottom of the spreadsheet so that I could see the totals for the people who were invited, the ones who accepted, and the ones who regretted! Definitely my favorite part!
