It’s taken me a long time to find a formula of lipstick that I truly reach to for everyday wear! For me, the color of an everyday lipstick has to be neutral enough to go with every outfit, but still has to have enough pigment to make an impact.
My current favorite is this Sheer Genius Conditioning Lipstick in the Rose, Petal, & Lily shades. I’m wearing the Rose shade in these photos! It’s so moisturizing, and very easy to swipe on without a mirror! I love keeping one of these in my purse for on-the-go touch ups, because it’s not a long-wear lipstick that would require a mirror to apply.

I mentioned this on Instagram last week, but it also makes me feel good that this is a “clean” lipstick that’s free of harmful chemicals and additives. Especially because studies show that we end up eating a good portion of each of our lip products over time – I’m not a clean beauty expert by any means, and definitely use a wide range of products that certainly are not clean. But, I think lip products are one of the most important to be aware of.
