Happy weekend!!
I’ve been doing so much behind the scenes for holiday prep, and I’m so excited for everything that’s coming up on Collectively Carolina! Life lately has looked a lot like brunch dates after church, slowly decorating for Christmas, and trying to stay warm in the January-like temperatures we’ve been having in North Carolina ❄️
I’ve also been working really hard to finish up my Gift Guides before all of the Black Friday sale craziness begins – and so much of it already has! I’ll be sure to let you know on my Instagram stories when things from my guides go on sale over the next week!
This sweater dress that I wore to church last Sunday is from Amazon, and I love it! I wish I had sized up one, because it does run a bit small, so I’ll probably be ordering it in another color, too. My coat is sadly from Old Navy from a couple of years ago – can you believe it? I’ve definitely gotten my money’s worth out of it! My bracelet stack (pictured below) is a lovely new combination of gold and tortoise that’s perfect for winter!
I gave Rudd his quilted Barbour jacket for Christmas a couple of years ago, and always recommend it as a great gift for guys.
Our Christmas decor is slowly shaping up! I can’t wait to shoot some photos on my camera to replace these iPhone snaps, to really document everything like our favorite flocked tree for you! I’m planning to post a Christmas home tour after Thanksgiving! Speaking of that, we’re excited to head to my parents’ house in South Carolina next week to celebrate – I can’t wait for all of the yummy food and to spend time with my fam!
As many of you know, I grew up in South Carolina and never imagined I would be a North Carolina mountain-living girl! I’m still adjusting to these chilly temps, so I’ve been trying to expand my outerwear wardrobe – ha! I think I’ve worn this green puffer jacket everyday this week to run errands, walk Fern, and to throw on to and from the gym!
