Holiday Gift Guide: Shop Small

Happy November 1st! I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend. I’m so excited to be moving on to the holiday season, and I am back with one of my favorite gift guides of the year to celebrate. I always love putting together my “shop small” gift guide each year because these businesses are so important to me as a creator (and small business, myself!) The relationships that I’ve formed with these brands are so meaningful to me, and it’s so much fun to cheer each other on in our endeavors.

Before you quickly fill your cart on Amazon, read through this guide and consider giving these small businesses some love! I can personally tell you that the people behind these shops are so deserving of your business this holiday season.

1. Bits & Bows – You might remember when I shared these adorable bow baseball hats on Instagram earlier this summer! Each hat has a snap on the back that allows you to interchange the bow to fit any outfit. Since their official launch this year, Bits & Bows has expanded to include hats for little girls, fun embroidery designs, and monogrammed hat options. This navy monogrammed hat is on my wish list! Stay tuned this week as they launch their women’s gift sets!

2. Pink Stable – This southern boutique has something for everyone! They have the best customer service, and carry the cutest outfits, home items, accessories, and children’s clothing. This pink & orange sweater would dazzle any girl on your holiday list, and this camo tote bag would be the perfect gift for a mom! Check out this Instagram reel I created a few months ago with some of their pieces – you can’t go wrong with anything from Pink Stable!

3. Hidden Truth Jewelry – I have been blogging about Hidden Truth since I started Collectively Carolina a couple of years ago. They’re always my go-to when I need special gifts – each piece of jewelry has encouraging words or scripture inscribed on the back! Ashley and I have worked together on several projects, but my favorite was our collaboration on my bridesmaids’ earrings. For this season, I’m absolutely loving the Crazy Lace Agate necklace with the Rachel Cross, and well as these Harper Cross Dangle Earrings. Ideal gifts for a mother, grandmother, or MIL!

4. Brooke Lancaster Art – If you haven’t checked out Brooke’s work, you are really in for a treat. She creates ornaments, large fine art, small works, jewelry made from painter’s palettes, and custom commissions. I have one of her fine art pieces in our guest bath, and she also created this custom commission for us from one of our wedding photos! Her work is available on her website, the Serena & Lily website, The Scouted Studio in Charleston, Libby Sylvia Gallery in Martha’s Vineyard, and Simon Breitbard Gallery in California. She also has gift certificates available for the holidays!

5. Sprinkled With Pink – My favorite online shop for party goods and personalized products! I don’t go anywhere without my custom tumbler (as seen here!), and I’m beyond excited to get my new phone case in the mail – I ordered the white one with pink initials! You might also remember that I did these jute totes for my bridesmaids for my bachelorette weekend. We also got tons of SWP items for my sister’s bach weekend back in July! Anything on their site would make the perfect gift for the girly, trendy girl on your list.

6. Patterned Goods – A relatively new brand to me, but I just placed a big order that’s coming in later this week! This small business creates custom notepads, grocery lists, zipper pouches, journals, and more in the cutest patterns + colors. Everything is completely customizable! I’m an obsessive list-maker and know I’d love to receive anything from Patterned Goods as a gift. I think her items would make especially good presents for any teachers, moms, or hyper-organizers on your list!

7. Hooray Soirée – Remember the wedding day mimosa bar I put together for my sister in August? I used the “mimosa bar party in a box” from Hooray Soirée, and they just released a “wine & cheese party in a box” that would make such a fun gift for the charcuterie-lover or entertainer in your life. If you a have a bride-to-be on your holiday list, it would be such a cute present if her bachelorette weekend is coming up, too.
