We definitely had a warm start to the winter in North Carolina, but things are really starting to cool down now! We have some chances of snow coming up soon, too. With that in mind, I’m filling my wardrobe with colorful comfy-cozy athleisure pieces to brighten up gloomy winter days!
This first look is definitely my favorite! Perfect for walking the dog, or running errands. I love the tunic length of this cheery sweater (I have the medium!) to wear with leggings. This is my first time wearing this brand of leggings, and they’re very nice quality – I’m wearing the size small!

A note on my new Xtratuf Boots – Rudd got them for me for Christmas, and I’ve worn them almost daily since then! I was constantly slipping his pair on to take Fern outside (?) which was a pretty strong hint that I needed my own. They’re also perfect for rainy days, snow days, or working in the yard! Because they don’t come in half sizes, I went up from my usual 8.5 to a size 9 in the navy color.
