My baby nephew is going to be here so soon!!
My mom and I had the best time putting together & hosting a shower at my house for my sister over the weekend – it was so much fun to celebrate her and baby boy on the way! We are over the moon excited to meet him!! I can’t wait to watch my sissy be the best mama – the countdown is officially on!
I wanted to share some of the photos I took of the party, and will link details where I can. To start, the invitations and signs were Dizzy Daisy Designs, as always! I have removed the baby’s name, and my contact info, but still wanted to share the motif. We went with a light blue and citrus theme, and I love how it turned out!
On the dining room table, we used this blue gingham table runner, these glass candle sticks and light blue twist taper candles. My mom also made the clementine topiaries for the table – you might remember that we did the same for my wedding reception – to say we’re obsessed is an understatement!! She also made the adorable decorated cookies – almost too pretty to eat!
You can click here for the details on our drink table, and here are the details for the mimosa bar cart!
I’m linking our three dresses and other outfit details here for you to shop – they would all be great options for any showers you might have coming up! My sister’s dress worked perfectly – she is 34 weeks right now!
The parents to be!
My favorite candle to burn while I’m hosting.
Now, for more of the fun details! This absolutely amazing balloon garland was such a special touch from Pretty Party Greenville. I can’t say enough great things about working with her!! The communication, coordination, and set-up was such a breeze. I definitely know where I’ll be getting all of my party backdrops in the future! If you’re in the area, make sure to give the Pretty Party Greenville Instagram account a follow!!
I am not typically a fan of bridal shower or baby shower “games” just because they can be a little bit cheesy, but we did decide to do a sweet activity, which was these prayer cards for the baby – also from Dizzy Daisy Designs. They made such a special keepsake for Mary Catherine, that she can hold onto forever, and share with the baby in the future! My mom and I definitely shed a few happy tears while we filled ours out!
For the favors, we did these small glass vases with flowers, and a coordinating “thank you for coming!” tag. I thought it was such a cute idea for a baby boy shower – one that I stole from my influencer friend Samantha Taylor Blog after seeing her do it for a bridal shower!
