Some of them you might have seen on Collectively Carolina before via my favorite things, and some of them will be new to you. 1. Revlon Hair Dryer & Volumizer
If you missed my tutorial with this tool on my Instagram stories, check it out in my highlights! My sister and I both have one of these and can’t stop talking about how it’s truly changed our lives (we both have thick, naturally curly hair!) It makes our hair soooo smooth – I don’t know how I could ever live without it now! (It’s also v affordable.)
2. Jergens Face Moisturizer
If you know me, you know I am skeptical about most skincare products and choose the ones I use very wisely. I’ve been a fan of Jergens body moisturizer for years now, but I’m hooked on the face moisturizer lately! My poor face starts looking so pale in the winter time – this gives me a little boost so I don’t look absolutely dead. I use it after I wash my face in the morning before I put on my make up! It’s non-greasy and also has SPF – I love the “Fair to Medium.”
3. Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray
I’m fairly new to the Amika brand (I started using the Soulfood Hair Mask a few months ago and am SO impressed) so I was excited to try their blowout spray. It protects your hair from heat damage (perfect for when you’re using the Revlon tool), and also adds volume + shine!
4. Anything Tortoiseshell
Duhhhh. I can’t get enough of tortoise earrings, bags, necklaces, bracelets, sunglasses etc! I feel like adding a hint of tortoiseshell instantly up-levels any outfit.
5. Statement Earrings
Ditto to this – you can literally throw on a plain tee and jeans, add a pair of statement earrings and look so chic! I love to buy pieces that I can wear with lots of different outfits.
6. One Piece Bathing Suits
I would like to personally thank whoever brought this trend back! My bestselling J. Crew cutout one piece is back in stock this year and I am THRILLED. I’ll probably be picking it up in another color (I already have the red.)
7. Easy Spring Tees
I’ve been on a quest to update the “basics” section of my wardrobe for a few months now. I’m the kind of shopper who continuously buys statement pieces that can’t be worn on the day-to-day…oops!! I tried to buy some basic sweaters this past season, but now I’m looking forward to simple tees for weekend wear during the warmer months.
